What is Launch Empowerment Mentoring?

• Launch Empowerment Mentoring (LEM) is a support service specializing in individuals (and their families) living with and/or recieving treatment for brain injury, trauma, PTSD, and other cognitive challenges. By favoring potential over limitation, LEM works to transform personal strengths into vehicles for self-fulfillment. Life Coaching, counseling, and martial arts approaches are utilized to assist clients in identifying and pursuing custom paths of progress.

What opportunities does LEM offer?

• Ben, certified Life Coach and founder of LEM, works with clients in his Eugene office, via telelphone, and in locations of their choosing. Sessions focus on assisting clients in achieving and maintaining fulfilling lives and may consist of rehabilitation work as well as new systems development. The first thing Ben does is meet clients at their launching points. He strives to understand their current strengths and passions as well as fears and weaknesses. With this information, he assists them in facilitating self-development. He works with them to identify personal, social, and vocational goals that suit their unique strengths and interests. He assists them in designing and manifesting lifestyles that will help them accomplish those goals. He provides a strong base of support as they encounter challenge and experience triumph.

Who is Ben?

• Since overcoming many challenges resulting from a severe Traumatic Brain Injury sustained at the age of 12, Ben has become fascinated with the brain's ability to develop and redevelop during one's lifetime. He has spent years exploring various paths of recovery, both academically and otherwise, only to conclude that each individual functions differently and therefore requires custom means to guarantee success.
